BAKED LOBSTER TAILS
2 Greenhead Lobster Tails (thawed according to package instructions)
Butter or Oil
Spices, herbs, etc (optional)
1. Preheat the oven to 425°
2. Remove the Greenhead Lobster Tail meat from the shell and run a bamboo skewer or steel skewer down the length of the tail. This will keep it straight during the cooking process.
3. Butter or oil the tail, and place it into a buttered casserole dish.
4. Garnish lobster as desired, then loosely cover with foil. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until the tail meat is opaque.
Optional: In addition to the garnish, cover the lobster with panko breadcrumbs, sprinkle with paprika, and add a little sherry before covering with foil. Remove foil after five minutes in the oven to allow the breadcrumbs to crisp up for the last minute of baking.
